The house was built in 1887 and has been totally restored. It is located near by the towns of Torrelles de Foix, Sant Martí Sarroca and the hermitage of Foix. Barcelona is only 55 km. away, and the house is surrounded by vineyards and pinewoods. It has got a porch and a 7,25m swimming pool, as well as a barbecue and outdoor furniture. For groups of more than 10 people there is extra accommodation in the attached annex (Property Ref: 30302) , with capacity for four people.

Mas Aixola is a very cozy house with rural decoration and antique furniture. There is a big kitchen with a dining area on the ground floor. It has got a stove and a microwave. There is also a toilet and a room for the washing machine. On the first floor we find 4 bedrooms: two of them with a queen size bed, another one with three beds and a bathroom, and a double one with a bathroom. Central heating.

It is highly recommended to visit the romanesque architecture in Sant Martí Sarroca and the monasteries of the Cistercian Order. You can also visit the famous Freixenet and Codorniu cellars, the Wine Museum and the church of Vilafranca del Penedès. It is also interesting to see the hermitage and castle of Santa Maria de Foix. The beaches of Costa Daurada are only 32 km. away, as well as the city of Tarragona and the theme park of Port Aventura.
