Rural estate comprising of two independent self-catering rural lodgings. This house is made up of a spectacular defence turret dating from the 13th century and a “Masia” added later in the 17th century. Situated on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Tavertet and surrounded by 7 acres of gardens, fields, woodland and streams, ideal for both adults and children. In the garden there is a covered barbecue area, a fenced area for dogs ( not permitted in the house) and wonderful views over the craggy cliffs which make Tavertet famous. The town is only five minutes away on foot where you will find the local swimming pool.

On the ground floor there is a kitchen/ dining-room which gives onto a wooden balcony. Form here there is access downstairs to two bedrooms, one double and one twin. Upstairs, (into the rest of the house and the turret) there is a larger dining-room/ living room with fireplace and TV, another fully equipped kitchen (fridge, gas oven, microwave and washing machine) and four further bedrooms (one double, three twin and the last with bunk beds). There are three bathrooms and a toilet. Central heating.

Tavertet is a beautiful town which at its heart conserves forty stone town houses dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. From the town there are plenty of opportunities for excursions on foot ( to the cliffs overlooking the Sau reservoir, for example). In the town itself there is a company which organizes canoeing on the Sau reservoir, mountain bike excursions, balloon flights, climbing, horse riding… Other picturesque villages in the area are Rupit and Cantonigros where an international music festival takes place every year. The region’s capital, Vic is 25 minute drive away (medieval market the first week of December, Music market in September and the “Mercat del Ram” at the beginning of April).
