Pre 16th century converted barn situated in Cambrils, just under the source of the river Racó (tributary of the larger river: La Ribera Salada) and surrounded by woodland, streams and pastures for cattle. A little below the house there is a magnificent waterfall which can admired together with the view of the valley from the chapel of Saint Barberà, which is just a little way from the house. The house has 200m2 of garden and a swimming pool (8m x 4m) to share with the other accommodation on the site (See property Ref: 13505) . The swimming pool has a shallow part for young children. Also in the garden you will find a porch with barbecue (also shared with the other lodging) and all the necessary garden furniture to relax outside. A few metres form the house there is another barn which has been converted into a games room with ping pong and other games for children.

There are two lodgings with the same characteristics distributed on two floors. Downstairs you come in directly onto the living room and dining area with fireplace and TV. At the back of the house you will find the kitchen equipped with stove, microwave and fridge, and a bathroom. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a bedroom with three single beds. There is the possibility of putting one extra bed in the double bedroom. The washing machine is located in an annex to the house and is to share between the two lodgings. Central heating.

The house is well situated for a number of outdoor activities. There are all kinds of excursions on foot, by bike or 4x4 to be done. You can visit the local Nature Centre (Centro de Natura de Odén) for guided tours of all types in the area. You can visit the Salí de Cambrils, a pre-industrial site for the production of salt, or follow the famous Smugglers Trail (Ruta de los contrabandistas). From Cambrils you can follow the country road in the direction of the region's capital, Solsona to find the quiet corner “El Pas del Clop”, which is an ideal place to have a swim in the clear waters of the river Ribera Salada in the summer. There is golf 18 km away, the ski resort of El Port del Compte 27 km away, and cross country skiing at Tuixen-La Vansa (35km). The town of St. Llorenç de Morunys and the Lord Valley (Vall de Lord) 27km. Definitely worth a visit is the region's capital, Solsona (30km), to take a walk around its historic centre, visit the cathederal or enjoy the open air concerts every Friday in July and August. A visit to the unique Salt Mine in Cardona (50km) should not be missed. Andorra 70km. Barcelona 140km.
