The Solsones is one of Catalonia’s most placid and most beautiful inland regions. It is situated in the foothills of the Pyrenees where the plains contrast with magnificent pine forests and wheat, barley and sunflower fields. In addition, its sparsely populated countryside make it ideal for relaxation and leisure activities. The Solsones offers a unique atmosphere far from the noise and worries of life in the fast lane while providing its visitors with all the necessary services and activities for a perfect break.
The country estates of Puig-Arnau and Pubilló extend for approximately 250 hectares below the steep rocks of the Sierra D’Acines and Puig Sobirà among prairies and meadows. There are a total of 6 houses which make up the accommodation on offer. Each house has a barbecue and there is a shared swimming pool.

You will find the town of Sant Llorenç de Morunys only 8km from the estates, a turist attraction visited all year round. It conserves its medieval layout being surrounded by a pentagonal shaped battlement with 4 of the original 5 gates to the town still intact. Despite being sacked during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) the town still retains several works of art from the 14th and 15th century in its Romanesque church.
20km from the house is the capital of the region, Solsona with its beautiful cathedral which maintains its Romanesque style belltower. You will also find a monument to the Mother of God of the Cloister (Mare de Deu del Claustre),the patron of the town. Also recommended are the Park of La Mare de La Font (2km away) and the Puente d L’Afrau, the former aqueduct to the town (only accessible by foot).
