villa in Riudarenes

Old stone country villa situated on the outskirts of the town of Riudarenes and just 20 km form the beaches of the Costa Brava. Fully restored in 2005/2006 the house is set in mountainous valley surrounded by woodland with marvellous views. There is a large garden with all the necessary garden furniture, stone benches a porch for cars, a covered barbecue area, and children’s swings. Also found in the garden area is a magnificernt fenced swimming pool (10m x 4m) with shower.

The house is distributed on two floors. On the ground floor: the living room with fireplace, the dining-room and a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, oven, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. Also to be found on the ground floor is two double bedrooms and a bathroom. On the first floor: a further lounge area, two bathrooms (with shower), a room with three single beds and three double bedrooms. Central heatng.

This privileged setting allows for some great outings on foot. There are also cultural visits on offer such as a visit to Hostalric and Farners castles and the old quarter of the city of Girona. For sports, there’s golf at Caldas de Malavella and of course the craggy beaches of the Costa Brava.
