The house is situated on an estate dedicated to farming olives and almonds, which also has other areas of vineyards and other fruit trees. From the house you can see the Gaia reservoir, in a landscape which combines farmland and woodland. The house has a magnificent garden in complete harmony with the surrounding countryside with several different cornewrs for both fun and rest. At the front of the house there is an area of shade with a table and chairs. The swimming pool is round and is divided into two parts, one for bathing and the other a pond with aquatic plants.

If you follow the river Gaia you will come to the river mouth which has recently been declared a wildlife reserve. Lovers of the outdoors can also visit Torredembarra Marshlands, ‘La Séquia Major' ( in Vila-Seca) , or La Punta de La Mora in Tarragona. All the surrounding villages are worth visiting for their singular character (Altafulla, Creixell, La Nou del Gaià, La Pobla de Montornés, Torredembarra and La Cananja all have their own castles which are worth visiting. Other interesting sights include the churches of St. John the Baptist in Catller, Santa Maria de Salomó, and Sant Martí. Vilallonga de Camp and the modernist church by J.M.Jujol in Vistabella. Especially interesting is the ‘Ruta del Cister (The route of the Cister monks) which includes visits to the monasteries of Santes Creus, Poblet and Vallbona de Les Monges. Other interesting places to investigate are the seafront shops in Altafulla, the seafront in Salou and the centre of Renau (the smallest town in Tarragona) and Tarragona itself, which is only 12 km away and boasts a magnificent Roman heritage.
