On the eighth floor with lift this comfortable 74m2 Barcelona apartment has a nice balcony for morning breakfast and it’s been completely renewed creating modern and nice environments. In a modern corner building, this apartment has a maximum capacity of 6 people, with two bedrooms with double beds, third bedroom with double sofa bed and another sofa bed in the living area, and equipped with new electrical appliances. Perfect for a short stay.

Classic nine-story construction from the 70's with elevator. Due to the structure of the Eixample neighbourhood with square blocks and chamfered corners this type of corner building with lots of balconies became very popular at the time. Only two blocks away from Gaudi's Sagrada Familia Church.
 

The Eixample Neighbourhood of Barcelona (the Expansion), began to unfold during the middle of 19th century due to the need to extend the city. Barcelona had maintained its medieval structure due to the ban on building outside the city walls, but with the onset of industrialization and high population density medieval walls collapsed, and the city could expand.
The project by Ildefons Cerda meant a big change on respect to of the old structure thinking on a city with wide long streets with trees and big squares with big green areas. Although the overall structure of the project was kept, over the years, the green areas were reduced until the the squares were filled with buildings and the interiors were turned into storage and parking areas. At the beginning of the 80 began a project to recover some of these interiors and gradually some small public spaces and gardens have been opened through the years.
The Eixample Neighbourhood with nice streets, wide avenues, bike lanes and gardens, shopping areas, bars, restaurants is a nice area to stroll.
The location of the building is walking distance to the Sagrada Familia Church and to other Modernist and Noucentist styles buildings, from well known architects like the Casa de les Punxes on the Diagonal Avenue, or the Casa Macaya on Passeig de Sant Joan, both from architect Josep Puig I Cadafalc, and also very well connected with buses and metro lines to other interesting areas of Barcelona, like the Gothic Neighbourhood with the roman walls, the Liceo Opera House, the Picasso Museum and the famous Ramblas, the beaches, the Montjuïch Mountain with the Miró Foundation, or the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya and the Caixa Forum building also from architect Josep Puig I Cadafalc.

Low Season: November 2nd to December 18th, January 6th to February 12th and February 21st to March 26th.
Normal Season: December 19th to January 5th, February 13th to February 20th and March 27th to November 1st.
  
In general there is a 3 nights minimum stay requirement.

During special events, fairs, congresses and holidays there may be: - a surcharge, a different minimum stay or an obligatory pre-payment of 100% (see Rates and Fees in Terms and Conditions).

Booking fee: 10.00 euros due to management expenses.
Cleaning service fee: There is an obligatory one-time fee of 50.00 euros for apartment-cleaning service at the end of your stay, not included in the rates.
Breakage or damage deposit: The owner asks for a deposit of 200.00 euros as a guarantee for the flat (this absolutely must be paid in cash on arrival). The amount will be returned at the end of the stay if no damage has been done.
Lost key surcharge: For every set of keys lost there is a 50.00 euros surcharge.
Late arrival fee: Arrivals between 21:00Hs and 24:00Hs have a surcharge of 30.00 euros; Arrivals after 24:00Hs have a surcharge of 50.00 euros. These surcharges must be paid cash on arrival. 

Check-out time: Check-out time in this apartment is no later than 11:00Hs.
Check-in time: Normal check in time in this apartment can be done from 15:00H onwards. If the apartment is available for check in (No previous check out on the same day) check in can be made with no charge from 9:00 to 15:00Hs.
Early Check out time: Departures before 09:00 have a surcharge of 30.00 euros.

Please note: Reduction of number of guests or of number of nights, will be subject to a 20.00 euros administration fee. The changes must be advised prior to your arrival. If you reduce the number of nights or of guests between 7 days prior to your arrival and the arrival - recalculation of price is not possible.

Our main objective is for the client to have a good experience in Barcelona and to enjoy the stay. Clients MUST RESPECT the neighbours, as the apartment is in a residential block. No parties are allowed in the apartment, party outside. If the neighbours complain or the police is called it will result in immediate eviction without refund.
 
*WI FI Connection: The owner of the apartment offers WIFI Internet connection in the apartment free of charge. Any incidence or problem concerning the Internet service due to the communications company that provides it (such as connection failures, signals, router, maintenance, etc.) WILL NOT REDUCE THE TOTAL PRICE FOR THE APARTMENT.
Internet information for guests travelling from USA and Israel: Wireless cards from USA and Israel may have incompatibilities in Spain.
