Corner 60 m2 flat on the third floor in an elevator building, with four balconies with beatiful views (three in the living-dining area and one in the bedroom. It has been renewed, refurbished and decorated with stylish comfortable and modern furniture. It is one of a group of three nearly identical apartments in the third floor of the building with beautiful views over the Old Port, Barceloneta Area, Meremagnum, World Trade Centre and Motjuic Mountaln.

Nice six-story construction from the 1850´s that has been completely renovated with elevator. Forms part a 4 blocks built at the same called the "Pòrtics d'en Xifré", a group of buildings declared National Monument that incidentally was the first place in Barcelona where running water was installed. Of the complete group this building is in the first line of construction in front of Barcelona’s craft docks, the old Port of Barcelona “Port Vell”.

 

 


The group of buildings that form the "Pòrtics d'en Xifré", are actually in connection with the Gothic, Borne and Barceloneta neighbourhoods, and the Port Vell, even they form part of the Born Neighbourhood. It is a perfect place to start and finish your day in Barcelona. Being close to all the major attractions related to the Port Vell area with the Maremagnum, the Aquarium and the World Trade Centre, having also a five minutes walk to Las Ramblas and all what implies in terms of tourism, terraces, people watching, strolling etc. Located also between the old fisherman’s village of the Barceloneta complete with small town squares, local old style markets and little cafes and restaurants, and the nearest beaches on one side and the beautiful and fashionable neighbourhoods of the Gothic and the Born with all the historic places, squares, churches, museums and with lots of things to do and see during the day and the night.
Being close to the heart of the Old Barcelona you are walking distance to nearly everything of interest and also very well connected with lots of buses, metro and subway lines including the tourist bus which has a stop right in front of the building.

Low Season: November 2nd to December 18th, January 6th to February 12th and February 21st to March 26th. 
Normal Season:  December 19th to January 5th, February 13th to February 20th and March 27th to November 1st.

In general there is a 3 nights minimum stay requirement.
During special events, fairs, congresses and holidays the apartments may have:
- a surcharge,
- a different minimum stay,
- an obligatory prepayment of 100% - (see Rates and Fees in Terms and Conditions).

Booking fee: 10.00 euros due to management expenses.
Cleaning service fee: There is an obligatory one-time fee of 55.00 euros for apartment-cleaning service at the end of your stay, not included in the rates.
Breakage or damage deposit: The owner asks for a deposit of 200.00 euros as a guarantee for the flat (this absolutely must be paid in cash on arrival). The amount will be returned at the end of the stay if no damage has been done.
Lost key surcharge: For every set of keys lost there is a 50.00 euros surcharge.
Late arrival fee: Arrivals between 21:00Hs and 24:00Hs have a surcharge of 30.00 euros; Arrivals after 24:00Hs have a surcharge of 50.00 euros. These surcharges must be paid cash on arrival.

Please note: On respect to Reduction of number of guests or of number of nights: These changes must be advised prior to arrival.
Once pre-payment has been made, which confirms a reservation, the reduction of the number of guests or of number of nights, will be subject to a 25.00 euros administration fee for the recalculation of pricing.
But if the number of nights or of guests is reduced between 7 days prior to the arrival and the arrival - recalculation of the price is not possible.

Our main objective is for the client to have a good experience in Barcelona and to enjoy the stay. Clients MUST RESPECT the neighbours, as the apartment is in a residential block. No parties are allowed in the apartment, party outside. If the neighbours complain or the police is called it will result in immediate eviction without refund.

 


The meeting point for this apartment is in Paseo de Colon #1 in front of the bank called La Caixa. (this is close to the corner of Via Layetana/Plaza Antonio Lopez and the main post office “Correos”).
Please remember that once in Barcelona you must call to organize the check-in (allow for approximately 30 minutes minimum).
