Coll de Nargó is one of the towns of the region of L’Alt Urgell with the most Romanesque heritage. The churches of St. Martí, St Climent de Coll de Nargó and St. Serni de Gavarra stand out among many others. Several museums can be visited, for example the Dinosaur Museum and also the Rafting Museum, which celebrates the traditional profession of rafting in the village, used to bring timber down from the mountains on the river. Also worth a visit is the region’s capital, La Seu d’Urgell, above all for its historic centre. La Seu d’Urgell is also home to the Olympic Park where there is plenty of opportunity for outdoor activities, including canoeing and rafting. There is a road that crosses Valldarques’s river up to Coll de Bòixols, where you can enjoy spectacular landscapes. The river forms natural pools, perfect for having a bath in summer. Also on offer is hand-gliding at Fígols and Alinyà cross country skiing at St Joan de L’Erm and alpine skiing at Port del Compte. There are different itineraries to do excursions afoot or in bicycle. For the fans of the withdrawal of mushrooms this one is a suitable place and on the second Sunday of October The Fair of the 'Rovelló' is celebrated. In Oliana's marsh there is the possibility of going fishing but it will be necessary to ask permission to fishing in the village. Aravall (20 minutes from Coll de Nargó) is home to a golf course.
