Property situated in the most characteristic part of this small town, near the church. Despite being of recent construction, the house conserves all the facets of buildings typical in the area. The property has been divided into two independent lodgings (See property Ref: 11505) on the first floor; access is via a large terrace. On the ground floor there is a garage and a pleasant patio. The village features a small grocery shop and a bar. For further amenities the town of Martinet is only 3km down the road where you will also find the town swimming pool. Martinet is also on the main road which links the two major towns of the area, La Seu d’Urgell and Puigcerdà, both 25km away.

Montellà is a tiny mountain village 3km from Martinet. This village, of Roman origin, is set in an ideal location on the border of the two Catalan regions of Alt Urgell and Cerdanya and at the foot of the largest protected areas in Catalunya, Cadi-Moixeró National Park. The most popular outdoor sport is hiking, with paths of varying difficulty. Other popular sports in the area are alpine skiing (Masella and La Molina) and cross-country skiing (Lles de Cerdanya), Canoeing and rafting (Olympic Park, La Seu d’Urgell), and fishing.
