The village features a small grocery shop and a bar. For further amenities the town of Martinet is only 3km down the road where you will also find the town swimming pool. Martinet is also on the main road which links the two major towns of the area, La Seu d’Urgell and Puigcerdà, both 25km away.

The apartments are distributed on one floor. There is a pleasant living room with fireplace and a sofa bed (1,50m), a dining-room and a kitchen equipped with oven, microwave, a small dishwasher and fridge. Montellà is a tiny mountain village 3km from Martinet. This village, of Roman origin, is set in an ideal location on the border of the two Catalan regions of Alt Urgell and Cerdanya and at the foot of the largest protected areas in Catalunya, Cadi-Moixeró National Park. The most popular outdoor sport is hiking, with paths of varying difficulty. Other popular sports in the area are alpine skiing (Masella and La Molina) and cross-country skiing (Lles de Cerdanya), Canoeing and rafting (Olympic Park, La Seu d’Urgell), and fishing.
