Cal Jan Bastardas - Fonollosa

Isolated country house. It is very well restored in wood and stone. It has got a stable with horses, growing fields and gardens, as well as a terrace and a shed with outdoor furniture. There is also a 10x5 m swimming pool and a barbecue. The owners don't live in the house. It is located in the town of Fonollosa, 20 km. away from Manresa, the capital town of the area.

The house is made of stone and has got very beautiful furniture and decoration. It is distributed in three levels. In the cellar there is a room with the washing machine and the boiler. On the ground floor there is a dining room and a kitchen with a fireplace and a balcony with a view over the swimming pool. The kitchen has got a fridge, and oven and a dishwasher. The property has a total of four bedrooms. A twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom on the ground floor, on the first floor a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a twin bedroom and a room with three single beds that share a further bathroom.  On the first floor there is a living room with a TV and a VCR and direct access to the terrace.

You can go to the park of l'Agulla and practise water skiing.There is an ostriches farm a few km. away. You can also visit the monastery of Montserrat or Sant Benet. Another touristic landmarks are the Salt mines in Cardona or the well of Buixerda. You can buy typical and home-made products in the area, and wine and rabbits in the house next door. You can go fishing to the river Cardener, 8 km. away. Barcelona is only an hour away by car.
