Alt Empordà is a region between sea and mountains, the meeting point of the so-called Mediterranean trilogy of wheat, vineyards and olive groves. The soil and the climate characteristics of the Empordà foster a favorable environment for obtaining the unique wines with denomination of origin Empordà-Costa. The proximity between the sea and the mountains form a landscape formed by the hardness harmonic Albera range, Serra de Rodes... It's worth to visit the small towns of the area: the medieval town of Besalú, the Natural Park of the Garrotxa, l’Estany de Banyoles, Castellfollit de la Roca, Cap de Creus, Castelló d'Empúries, Vilabertran, Sant Llorenç de la Muga… visit the castle of Requesens, monastery of St. Pere de Rodes, ruins of Empúries, Dali Museum in Figueres. Enjoy the wonderful beaches and an excellent food. In the same property you can hike to the washers, follow the river, stroll through the fields, look for mushrooms...
