Paller 1 de Cal Gatnau - Turbias

The house was an old barn, but now it is a comfortable rural lodging. It is made of wood and stone, very typical style of the Pyrenees. It is located in the town of Turbiàs, 23 km. away from La Seu d'Urgell. It has magnificent views over the valleys of Castellbó and el Cadí. It has got a courtyard at the entrance with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. On the ground floor there is a garage for two cars.

The lodging is distributed on two floors. Downstairs there is a hall, a kitchen with a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave and small appliances. There is also a living room with direct access to the courtyard, a fireplace, a Hi-Fi and a satellite TV. There is a double room, a bathroom and a washing machine under the stair. On the first floor there are two double rooms with a bathroom each. One of them has got a queen size bed. There is another double room with convertible beds. Also exists the possibility of adding two pull out beds and a cot (at previous request). Central heating.

You can do many different activities in the surroundings of the house. You can go for trips to the Dolmen of Turbiàs or pick mushrooms in fall. The town of Castellbó is only 11 km. away, with its medieval ruins, the castle and the Costoja. You can also practise cross-country skiing or walk with snowshoes in Sant Joan de l'Erm station, only 10 km. away. This is an ideal spot for starting trips to the Bordes de Conflent or to the Santa Magdalena River. La Seu d'Urgell is 23 km. away. There is the possibility of playing golf in Aravell (17 km. away) and Andorra is only 33 km. away.
