Mas Rubió - Joanetes

The house was built in the 16th century. It is surrounded by woods and growing fields, next to the peak of Puigsacalm. It has got a big shed, some old stables and a very big and sunny threshing floor. At the back of the house there is a terrace, a prairy with a football pitch and another little prairy. The house is isolated and it has got a barbecue and outdoor furniture.

The lodging is distributed in three floors and decorated with antique furniture. On the ground floor there is the hall with vaulted ceilings. On the first floor there is a kitchen with a washing machine, a living room with a fireplace and a TV, three double rooms, three bathrooms and a terrace. On the second floor there are two triple rooms, and a bathroom. There is the possibility of renting extra beds, but there are no sheets for those.There are NO towels. Central heating.

The region of La Garrotxa has got a natural park. It is very recommendable to visit the vulcanos in the area, practice adventure sports or do some trekking. For cultural trips head to Besalú or Castellfollit de la Roca, famous for their medieval landmarks. You can also visit the capital town of the region, Olot, with its church, museums and a sanctuary. There is a golf club only 25 km. away, and the lake of Banyoles is only 40 km. away, as well as the skiing trails of Vallter 2000. There is the possibility of practising adventure sports and balloon trips. The public swimming pool of Sant Esteve d'en Bas is only 3 km. away.
