El Puy - Castigaleu

Stone farm house situated above the mountain village of Castigaleu, commanding excellent views over the surrounding countryside. Situated in the foothills of the Pyrenees, just inside the province of Huesca and neighbouring the Catalan region of Pallars Jussà. The property features a spacious terrace with sunbeds and other garden furniture. In addition there is round swimming pool (fenced, radius: 4m) from which you can enjoy the splendid views.

The house is distributed on three floors. On the first floor there is a living room/ dining-room with fireplace, satellite TV, DVD and hifi. Open plan kitchen fully equipped with fridge, dishwasher, microwave, oven and other small domestic appliances. Stairs lead to the bedrooms. There are 2 doubl, a twin bedroom, and two bedrooms which are connected (a double and a twin). All the bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms. Separate room with washing room, tumble dryer and iron. Situated at an altitude of between 800m- 1100m the town of Castigaleu (approx. 120 inhabitants) is a peaceful location, ideal for excursions by car and on foot.One of the most well known places in the area is the peak of Tozal de San Isidro (1023m) being famous for the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside enjoyed from the top. Cultural visits on offer include a visit to the Sanctuary of Torreciudad, the cathedral at St Vicente de Roda and the historic centre of Benaberre.
