Casa Illa - Cornellà de Terri

This recently renovated house is located on the edge of the village of Cornellà del Terri in the Plà de l’Estany. It is an independent house surrounded by a large garden and fields, a swimming pool (10x4m) delimited with a certified security fence and an area with swings and playground for children. There is also a porch with a table, chairs and a barbecue. The responsibles of the farm live in an annex of the house. A few meters from the house, we can find a river and a green route of 30km that runs along the different towns of the area. It has a very good communication, and is only 6km from Girona and 14km from Banyoles.

The house is distributed on 3 floors. All the rooms are very ample and pleasant. Ground floor, we found ceilings of Catalan return, with a main entrance that leads to different spaces: the game room where there is a pool table and table football, a room totally adapted for disabled, with a double bed and an also adapted bath. On the other side, from the entrance we pass into an ample kitchen and dining room, totally equipped with a gas cooker of 90cm, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, a freezer and refrigerator of great capacity along with a big table to eat. From the kitchen, from one side we have access to the living room, with sofas, television, chimney and a round table, and on the other side we can leave to outside where we find a porch with a big table and a barbecue.
First floor, we have 3 double bedrooms, 2 rooms with three beds and 2 full bathrooms, one with shower and one with bath. Two of the double bedrooms and one bathroom have exit to a luminous terrace.
Finally the second floor, with sloping wooden ceilings, has an extensive room and distributor with sofas and a television, from here we have access to 2 double bedrooms, 2 rooms with 3 single beds and two bathrooms, one with shower and one with bath. Central heating.

Plà de l'Estany is an exceptional zone and very well communicated to enjoy both the pleasures of the mountains and the coast. This area accommodates rural villages and outstanding natural areas and everything close to large urban places such as Girona, just 14km (where you can visit the Old Town, the Jewish Quarter, Cathedral, etc.), Banyoles, 6km (Lake of Banyoles , an area of great ecological value and ideal for different kinds of sports such as fishing, canoeing, etc..) Besalú, 20km (very well preserved medieval town declared national historic and artistic interest), we can enjoy the volcanic area of Garrotxa, with stunning volcanic landscapes and the possibility of hiking and mountain bike, and the Costa Brava, at about 30 km with beaches and charming villages.
