La Casa de Cal Pai - Pardines

The house is totally restored in wood and stone and it follows the traditional structures. It is located in the Vilaró neighbourhood, in the suburbs of the town of Pardines. This is only 1 km. away from Ribes de Freser. It is surrounded by woods and prairies, on the side of the Mount Taga (2039 m high). It has got three independent lodgings with an independent entrance each. It has got a big garden with a barbecue, some trees and outdoor furniture to share with the guests in the other two lodgings.

The lodging is distributed in three floors. The ground floor has got a full equipped kitchen with a washing machine, a dining room and a bathroom. On the first floor there is a living room with a fireplace and a TV, a double room and a single room. On the second floor there is a bedroom with a queen size bed and two twin beds, and a double room. There is the possibility of renting an extra bed. Central heating.

In a place 3km. away from the house, you can rent horses and bikes. There is also a public swimming pool there. Ribes de Freser is the entrance to many Pyrenean valleys and it is the town from where you can take the zip train to the famous Nuria Valley. There is a great monastery in the town of Ripoll, a romanesque church from the XIIth century in the town of Beget and another monastery in the town of Camprodon. There are also many restaurants in where you can taste the traditional catalan dishes of the region.
