Cal Majoral de Can Bonada - Serrat-Queralbs

15th century house with all the comforts of the 21st century set in the 1000-year-old hamlet of Serrat in the Eastern Pyrenees. It has been converted into seven independent lodgings with a shared garden area in front of the house with all the necessary garden furniture to relax outside. Traditionally the main house where the shepherds lived, Cal Majoral is now a cosy rural lodging for up to six people.

Cal Majoral is distributed on two floors and is reached via an inner staircase. On the ground floor there is a large living room/ dining-room (30m2) with a fireplace and a TV. There is also a kitchen equipped with stove, microwave, fridge and a dishwasher. In addition there is a toilet, a bathroom, and a double bedroom. On the first floor there is a further double bedroom and a bedroom with four single beds ideal for children. Central heating. There is a communal laundry room with washing machines and two toilets at the disposal of guests.

Only 5 km from the town of Queralbs form where you can easily reach the Vall de Nuria by train. The Vall de Nuria has a wide range of activities on offer, including skiing, horse riding, sledging, guided visits and a children's park.Queralbs is an excellent starting point to go hiking especially up the famous ‘Puigmal' mountain (2913m). Queralbs is found in the Vall de Ribes where you can tour the Romanesque churches of the area including the churches of St Jaume de Queralbs and Sant Sadurni de Fustanyà.
