Casa de L'Embarcador de Balada - Balada

The house is very typical from the river Ebre's Delta zone. It is located in a side of the settlement of Balada. The house is has white washed walls, typical of the region. It has got a courtyard at the entrance, facing the rice fields that surround the whole house. It is 100 metres away from a pier, just in front of the little Gràcia island. It belongs to the town of Sant Jaume d'Enveja, only 2 km. away, and 7 km. away from Amposta, the capital town of the region.

It has got a living room with a dining area and a TV, an open kitchen with a microwave and a fridge, a double room and a room for four people (with a convertible bed and a bunk bed), and a bathroom. Central heating and a stove with glass doors in the living room.

Its location offers very nice surroundings for bike-riding, walking, fishing, rowing and practising water sports. It is also a great place for bird watching. Apart from the Natural Park of El Delta de l'Ebre, the region has got interesting cultural heritage, as for example in the town of Amposta, where you can visit the castle and the suspending bridge from 1919 or the archeological museum. In Ulldecona you can visit the romanesque walls and church as well as the sanctuary of Pietat and the prehistorical paintings.
