Mas d'en Bosch - Baronia de Rialb

Isolated house located in La Baronia de Rialb, the municipal term for the numerous small villages and farm houses which have been grouped together for administrative purposes in the valley of the River Rialb. Surrounded by spectacular landscapes of forests, pastures and farmland, the house has spacious garden with swimming pool (8m x 6m), garden furniture and a large porch with barbecue.

At the beginning, the house was divided in two lodgings which have finally been joined into one. It's a three floor house. On the ground floor, there are two very spacious entrances which communicate. A cellar, a double bedroom with a bathroom with a shower specially prepared for the disabled, and a living room. On the first floor, there are two dining rooms, two living rooms, one of them very spacious, with TV set, two kitchens with fireplace. The kitchens are fully equipped with fridge, microwaves and hobs. Room for the washing machine and a toilet. Five bedrooms: one double with en-suite bathroom, a second double bedroom and the three twin bedrooms. Two complete bathrooms with shower. On the second floor, two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. Finally, at the top of the house you will find a twin bedroom with a bathroom. Four additional beds. Central heating.

This is an area rich in Romanesque architecture, the largest village, Gualter, is home to the Monastery of St. Maria. Also worth a visit are Santa Maria de Rialb and Santa Victorìs de La Torre de Rialb. As this region was at the forefront of the medieval frontier between Muslims and Christians, it is good location to visit the many well conserved castles in the area, such as Florejacs, Montsonís, Mur, Montclar There is also plenty of adventure to be had in the area, including water sports on the Rialb reservoir, mountain biking and hiking.
